Finau was rewarded with an NRL debut in Round 26, 2023 after a stellar Knock-On Effect NSW Cup season in which scored 14 tries from 22 appearances and averaged 131 run metres.
A native of Wallan in country Victoria, Finau played his juniors with the Sunbury Tigers before progressing through the Storm system and eventually making his way to the Brisbane Tigers.
The 22-year-old – who joined the Dragons prior to last season – moves into the NRL squad this season and is under contract until at least the end of the 2025 season.
