Four players – Josh Dugan, Tyson Frizell, Jai Field and Blake Lawrie – will potentially back up from their respective State of Origin fixtures on Wednesday night, which has allowed McGregor to name 22 players rather than the usual 21.

Skipper Gareth Widdop and Dugan may also make their long-awaited NRL returns from knee and cheekbone injuries respectively after also being named in the reserves.
