The St George Illawarra Dragons NYC side have come from behind to beat the Wests Tigers 30-22 at ANZ Stadium, Olympic Park on Sunday, April 2.

Five-eighth Tristan Sailor scored the game's first try in the third minute but from there it was all the Tigers in the first half.

Tigers skipper Daniel Peck helped level the scores at 6-all when he won the race to a kick in the ninth minute.

They backed it up two minutes later when winger Jamin Williams crossed in the corner.

Tigers centre Liam Pakau pushed the Tigers lead out to 10 in the 18th minute when he scored in the opposite corner.

Dragons hooker Reece Robson's try in the 27th minute helped earn some reprieve, with the scores remaining 16-12 at half-time.

The break proved the best medicine for the Dragons, especially when halfback Jackson Willis put the Dragons ahead in the 55th minute.

Sailor's second in the 66th minute was a further boost, while Jason Gillard's try with five minutes remaining put the result in no doubt.

Dragons centre Zac Lomax's perfect day with the goal kicking proved another highlight throughout the afternoon.

While the Tigers scored a late try through halfback Blake Higgins, it was too little too late by then.

St George Illawarra Dragons 30 (Tristan Sailor 2, Jackson Willis, Reece Robson, Jason Gillard tries; Zac Lomax 5 goals) defeated Wests Tigers 22 (Daniel Peck,  Blake Higgins, Liam Pakau, Jamin Williams tries; Blake Higgins 3 goals) at ANZ Stadium. Half-time: Tigers 16-12.
