St George Illawarra Dragons National Youth Competition team winger Paora Kemp is happy to contribute where needed against the Newcastle Knights at UOW Jubilee Oval, Kogarah on Saturday.

The Young Dragons were comprehensive 32-10 victors over the Parramatta Eels last round to all but solidify their spot in the competition’s top four leading into the Finals Series.

However, for Kemp, who can additionally play in the centres or as fullback, it is all about remaining humble on the field.

“It was pretty good to get that win against the Eels but we still need to remain humble as we try to solidify a spot in the top four,” said Kemp.

“It was a tough spell when I had to cover as fullback when Dufty left the field because I was pretty knackered but I just had to do what was needed for the boys to get us across the line.

“I am happy to try and nail my role on the wing or slot in wherever else I have to.

“There is a small bit of talk around the Finals Series but at the same time we need to get through this last game against the Knights.”
