St George Illawarra Dragons National Youth Competition team winger Reuben Garrick is keen to test his development after being selected in the NSW Blue U20 State of Origin squad on Thursday.
The local Gerringong Lions junior, as well as teammate Matt Dufty, is part of an 18-man squad named for State of Origin fixture against the Queensland Maroons at ANZ Stadium, Olympic Park on Wednesday.
Garrick, who has previously featured for the NSW U18 team, is keen to compete alongside and against some of the best players at this age-level and looks forward to what lies ahead.
