St George Illawarra Dragons Head of Medical and Performance Tony Ayoub explains the medical intricacies that have gone into preparing the team for the upcoming back-to-back bloc of fixtures in Queensland.

The Red-and-Whites have travelled north of the state border for their upcoming two fixtures which will see them play the North Queensland Cowboys at 1300SMILES Stadium, Townsville (Round 5) before five-days later facing the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane (Round 6).

Ayoub shares his insight into the machinery and equipment utilised by his medical staff to keep the players both hydrated and game-ready over the two-game bloc as well as how his staff will combat the expected warmer playing conditions.

Furthermore, Ayoub provides an update on co-captain Ben Creagh, who successfully underwent knee surgery earlier on in the week, and is expected to be sidelined until at least Round 9 against the New Zealand Warriors at Mt Smart Stadium, Auckland.
