The St George Illawarra Dragons aim to continue their recent momentum when they face the Sydney Roosters in the traditional ANZAC Day fixture at Allianz Stadium, Moore Park on Saturday (4.00pm).
The Dragons will be aiming for their sixth win in as many weeks as they aim to make captain Ben Creagh’s 250th first-grade outing a memorable one.
They will be going head to head with a Roosters outfit whom have yet to notch a victory in almost a month yet are scoring a competition best 22 points per game so far this season.
It is the Dragons defensive stats however, that have the experts impressed, allowing a competition low 14 points per game.
If the Roosters are to overcome the Red-and-Whites, they will have to do so without Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, who has been sidelined for at least a month with a pectoral strain.
Team Changes
Dragons Head Coach Paul McGregor has named an extended 20-man squad for the annual encounter with George Rose joined by respective local juniors Drew Hutchison and Yaw Kiti Glymin.
The Roosters have been forced to elevate Sam Moa into the starting line-up following the injury to Waerea-Hargreaves.
