St George Illawarra Dragons winger Jason Nightingale has suffered an injury within his foot and will be sidelined for at least two weeks.

The New Zealand international underwent scans after suffering the ailment in his foot during the team’s warm-up prior to the 31-6 win over the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium, Olympic Park on Sunday.

“Jason underwent scans on Monday which have revealed he has suffered a full thickness plantar fascia tear to his foot which will see him out for approximately two weeks,” said Dragons Physiotherapist Dan Lawson.

“He will commence his rehabilitation work immediately upon his return to training with his progress to be monitored by Dragons Medical Staff.”
