St George Illawarra Dragons second-rower Joel Thompson has been charged with a Grade 1 “Dangerous Contact - Head/Neck” by the NRL Match Review Committee on Monday.

Thompson committed the incident during the seventh minute of the 22-20 win over the Canberra Raiders at GIO Stadium, Canberra on Saturday.

The hooker can either take an Early Plea, graded at 90 points, or contest the charge but if found Guilty have it graded at 120 points.
