The St George Illawarra Dragons recently held their annual Robert Stone Memorial Golf Day at Beverley Park Golf Course, Kogarah.

The Dragons first-grade pre-season train-on squad were in attendance as well 130 of the Club's valued Partners.

Winners on the day were Ainsworth followed closely by the team from the Rugby League Players’ Association.

Corporate Partners were joined by NRL Assistant Coaches  Ben Hornby and Dean Young, Dragons Ambassadors Wendell Sailor, Shaun Timmins and Mark Gasnier as well as members of the current playing squad including captain Ben Creagh, Benji Marshall, Josh Dugan and Mitch Rein.

A corporate presentation lunch followed up the day in which the entire NRL squad were present.

Josh Dugan and Dragons Ambassador Shaun Timmins both won the longest drive competition.

The best scratch result was the team from St. George Bank which included Ben Hornby.

The Ainsworth team, which included Jack De Belin, were the highest nett score winners followed closely by the team from Rugby League Players’ Association, which included Michael Crocker with Rod Wishart’s team from Wishart’s Paint Solutions coming third.

NTP winners were Vili’s Pies, Carlton & United Breweries and AFS Consulting.

Merv Ismay was the winner of the putting challenge.
