St George Illawarra Dragons centre Gerard Beale admits he is representing all his teammates' efforts in receiving the Dragons Community Involvement Award at the annual end of season Presentation Night on Sunday.

The New Zealand international was involved in several community initiatives this season including the Murdoch Children's Research Insitute's Step-a-thon initiative as well as the PSSA Botany's local rugby-league tournament.

His substantial work in the community helped promote the Club’s eight Community Pillars- Charity, Cultural, Education, Environment, Grassroots, Health, Mentoring and Women & Girls.
