St George Illawarra Dragons hooker Mitch Rein is looking forward to testing himself against the Wests Tigers forward pack at ANZ Stadium, Olympic Park on Sunday.

The Kiama Knights junior played his first full game for some time last weekend against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles and felt despite the loss, the Red V’s middle-third had another strong display.

Rein is not daunted by coming up against Australia international Robbie Farah and believes he is key to stopping the upcoming opposition’s forward pack.

“We’ve been happy with how we have been going, especially in the forward pack, but we still have a long way to go,” said Rein.

“If we stop their forwards go-forward, especially Aaron Woods, then we really limit Robbie Farah’s opportunities, so that would be a goal of ours”

“It’s always good testing yourself against the best players, so it will be a good battle trying to do my best for my team and he will be doing the same for his.

“Hopefully I can come out on top.

“He has a great kicking game; he’s the heart and soul of their team so we will have our hands full controlling him.”
