The St George Illawarra Dragons announced on Monday the formation of a new Partnership with Wentworth Williams Accountants for the balance of the 2014 season.
This Apparel Partnership will see the Sydney based Professional Accountancy Firm appear on the sleeve of certain Dragons’ merchandise, beginning with the sleeve of the players’ jerseys in the fixture against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at ANZ Stadium, Olympic Park.
It will also appear on the jersey of the NYC Team.
The new Partnership was expedited at the end of last week due to a commercial dispute with the former Sleeve Partner, Always Recycling.
Such a change to Club branded assets will require a managed process of alteration to various items such as merchandise, digital, marketing and promotional collateral.
With respect to retail merchandise, all affected items from the Dragons’ Official Team and Online Stores will be withdrawn from sale until the Wentworth Williams Accountants brand is in place.
This process will be finalised as soon as possible with updates to be provided through the above channels.

“They are highly regarded experts in their field who began their business locally in Kogarah and we look forward to working with them for the remainder of this year.
“The formation of this new Partnership was particularly important as it enables the Club to minimise the financial impact of the commercial dispute with Always Recycling.
“The Club also acknowledges that the unavoidable circumstance and change generates problems for many stakeholders, and as such there are a number of people and commercial assets impacted.
“The Club is committed to making the required changes as quickly and effectively as possible."
Wentworth Williams Accountant Partner Angelo Russo is equally as excited by the Partnership.
