Dragons launch Sport & Business Program

The Dragons have launched a new partnership to provide aspiring young people with an opportunity to pursue a career in sport.

The Dragons Sport & Business Program powered by SEDA Group offers participants access to an elite sporting environment while completing a dual diploma in sport and business.

Immersed in a high-performance setting, participants will gain invaluable experience through workshops, strategic projects, and work-integrated learning.

The program includes match-day experiences, shadowing industry experts, community engagement initiatives, project planning and delivery, and coaching, equipping participants with the skills and knowledge to stand out in a competitive sport and business landscape.

“This is a terrific opportunity for both the club and those wishing to pursue a career in sport,” Dragons Chief Executive Officer Tim Watsford said.

Dragons Chief Operating Officer Ben Creagh echoed Watsford’s sentiments, describing the partnership as an exciting step for the club.

“We’re really excited to be partnering with SEDA Group as we introduce the Dragons Sport & Business Program,” Creagh said.

“We are fortunate to have a group of highly skilled people, all of whom have worked hard to build careers in sport, here under one roof. The program is outstanding, and with the resources we now have at our disposal, we believe it will provide the next generation with a valuable opportunity to further their studies and gain practical experience.”
