Opening month

Dragons fans will have to wait an extra week before seeing their side in action after the Red V were handed the bye in Round 1. St George Illawarra open their campaign against the Titans on March 12 before travelling to Suncorp Stadium for a clash with the Broncos. They'll return to take on the Sharks in a local derby at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium in Round 4.

Origin watch

St George Illawarra will play the Dolphins in Redcliffe prior to Origin I before taking on the Panthers at BlueBet Stadium four days after the series opener in back-to-back away clashes. They'll have the bye in Round 16 prior to Origin II and be fresh to take on the Warriors on June 23. The Dragons will have a final bye in Round 20 before Origin III and then prepare for Wests Tigers at home.

The run home

The Dragons' final month starts with a clash against the Storm at WIN Stadium before trips to Cairns (Rabbitohs), in a first for the club, and Auckland (Warriors). They will finish in Round 27 with a final home game against the Knights at Kogarah on September 2.

And another thing...

The annual Anzac Day clash between the Dragons and Roosters is scheduled for a Tuesday afternoon in 2023. It will be the third time the fixture has been played on a Tuesday between the two clubs and a first since 2017. Both teams will have a five-day turnaround following the match.
