Play of the week is back, and this time we're looking at the best plays from the Dragons' comeback victory over the New Zealand Warriors in round 2 of the women's premiership.
The Dragons scored five unanswered tries in the second half to blow the Warriors off the park in a beautiful display of attacking rugby league. Vote for your favourite play below!
A. Tiana Penitina: With the scores locked at 6-all, the Dragons were on the charge with the match was still very much in the balance. From outside the 20-metre zone, the Dragons shifted the ball to the edge where Tiana Penitani got involved. The strike centre charged towards the line despite heavy attention from the Warriors defence to put the Dragons into the lead for the first time in the match.
B. Maitua Feterika: After gaining the lead, the Dragons started to put their foot on the gas with this great team try. The try featured eight passes, two offloads and five pairs of hands before Maddie Studdon put the ball on her foot. Studdon's kick was aimed at the goal post where Maitua Feterika was charging in pursuit, winning the race to the ball and slamming it down for an amazing team try.
C. Botille Vette-Welsh: The Dragons fullback didn't need any help in this scintillating solo long-range strike. Vette-Welsh received the ball 90 metres out from the Warriors in goal and showed plenty of urgency despite the Dragons already having the match wrapped up. Vette-Welsh skipped to her right and dummied to an outside player before switching on the after burners and racing away without a Warriors defender in sight.
