St George Illawarra Dragons junior representative Jack Cross has been selected for the NSW U16 State of Origin squad to face the Queensland Maroons at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane next Wednesday.

The Illawarra Steelers Harold Matthew's player is part of an 18-man squad to be coached by Dragons National Youth Competition co-Head Coaches Ben Hornby and Dean Young.

The team will assemble at the NSWRL Centre of Excellence, Sydney Academy of Sport, Wakehurst Parkway Narrabeen on Saturday for four days in camp.
