Bruce Gordon Centre hosts first Respect Session

The Bruce Gordon Centre hosted its first Respect Session with juniors from across the club's catchment making the trip into Fairy Meadow.

Juniors from the Thirroul Butchers, Woonona-Bulli Bushrangers, Western Suburbs Red Devils, Collegians Collie Dogs, Shellharbour Stingrays and Albion Park-Oak Flats Eagles were on hand for the afternoon.

NRLW stars Teagan Berry, Taliah Fuimaono, Keele Browne, Ella Koster, Jayme Millard, Montaya Hudson, Bronte Wilson, Maria Paseka, Tahlia O’Brien and Ella Churchill were also on hand to run the session alongside the Dragons Community Team.

The session was a part of a series of visits throughout the year aimed at Under 10s Tackle and League Tag teams with the sessions centred on teaching the value of respect through interactive, hands-on workshops.

Participants engaged in discussions about respecting oneself and others, complemented by basic skill games designed to reinforce the core messages and foster group interaction.

The sessions are a part of the club's ongoing commitment to enhancing the game day experience for young players, coaches, volunteers, referees, and parents by promoting a respectful and positive environment.
