A Thirroul and Collegians junior, Shipton progressed through the junior rep grades at Illawarra.
She represented the NSW Under 17s Country side in 2024 having pieced together a standout Lisa Fiaola Cup campaign.
Shipton made the leap up to Tarsha Gale Cup level the following year and was rewarded with selection in the NSW Under 19s Country squad and the Under 19s Women's State of Origin team.
