A fleet-footed outside back, Vella returns to the Dragons for her third season having had her 2024 cut short by injury.
The 26-year-old joined the Dragons from the NSW Waratahs Super W in 2023 and bagged a debut double in the side’s Round 2 victory over the Eels.
In 2018, she ventured stateside to play college rugby union at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut before earning an international rugby league call-up for the Malta Dames.
Vella enters the 2025 season sitting outright second on the club’s all-time NRLW try-scoring leaderboard and is contracted to the club until at least the end of the 2025 season.
