“The Dragons have been at the forefront of women’s rugby league since the start and are proud to continue to invest in the space with Nathan’s extension a big part of that. It is vital for us that young women in our region can dream of and strive towards being Dragons.
“Having one of the sport’s best coaches at the helm will help us ensure that our program from junior reps level up to the NRLW offers the best possible environment for rugby league players to develop their careers on and off the field.”
Cross added: “It’s an enormous honour to coach this club and I’m so pleased to be extending here.
“There’s a lot to be excited about over the coming years. We have such a proud rugby league area at our disposal and a successful pathways system. We had a host of girls progress up to NRLW level this past season and show plenty of promise. I’m looking forward to the squad’s continued development and building this club back into an NRLW heavyweight.”
