St George Illawarra back-rower Tariq Sims has taken the early guilty plea on a grade three careless tackle following the Dragons' Round 21 loss to the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks.
Sims's third and subsequent offence for the season rules him out of the remainder of the Dragons' regular season fixtures.
Depending on the Dragons' finals fortunes, the Melbourne-bound Sims may have played his final game for the Red V.
A replacement for Sims will be named in the Dragons' Round 22 team announcement on Tuesday afternoon.
