The St George Illawarra Dragons are proud to be celebrating National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee (NAIDOC) Week for 2022 (July 3-10).
The week annually celebrates and recognises the history, culture, and achievement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
This year's theme is 'Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up!'
We are encouraging the community to take part in NAIDOC Week celebrations in their own community, with Dragons players and staff supporting the following events within our catchment:
- July 5 – Greene Street, Warrawong (10am-1pm)
- July 6 – Penshurst Park, behind Hurstville Aquatics Centre on King Georges Road (10am-4pm)
- July 6 – Nowra Showground (9:30am-2pm)
- July 7 – Koonawarra Community Centre (10am-2pm).
