Dragons injury update - Graham, Frizell and Lafai

St George Illawarra Head of Athletic Performance Nathan Pickworth has provided the following injury updates on Dragons trio Tim Lafai, James Graham and Tyson Frizell.

All three men were injured in the first half of the Dragons' 22-9 loss to the Cronulla Sharks on Sunday afternoon.

"Tim (Lafai) has suffered a suspected moderate grade syndesmosis injury and will have follow up scans [on Monday]," Pickworth said.

"James (Graham) suffered a similar injury to Tim and has a suspected syndesmosis injury with the possibility of a fibula fracture; he will have follow up scans to determine the severity of the injury and to hopefully exclude the fibula fracture."

Frizell was concussed in a collision with former teammate Josh Dugan and was unable to finish the game. Dragons medical and performance staff have spoken with their New South Wales Origin counterparts and have provided a full handover of Frizell's injury status.

The back-rower will head into Blues camp after being selected for State of Origin I alongside fellow Dragon Paul Vaughan.

In more positive news, Korbin Sims (broken arm) made it through Indigenous Round unscathed.
