Illawarra will be looking to make it three wins in a row when they face Intrust Super Premiership leaders the New Zealand Warriors at WIN Stadium, Wollongong on Saturday March 25.
After a scrappy Round 1 loss to the Penrith Panthers, the defending Intrust Super Premiership champions have turned things around with impressive victories over the Wentworthville Magpies and the Newtown Jets.
They will now look to carry their momentum into their upcoming clash against a physical and fearless Warriors outfit.
The Warriors' Intrust Super Premiership outfit are so far undefeated in 2017, and head into the clash off the back of a 36-0 victory over the Wests Tigers last weekend.
Illawarra coach Mat Head knows what to expect from the Warriors and believes the key to victory is limiting the impact of their halves Mason Lino and Sam Cook.
"We know what the Warriors bring to the table. They're a very big and physical side, and we need to combat that," Head said.
"They have experienced halves who like to throw the footy around, so we need to limit their opportunities in attack.
"We're currently two from three to start the season which is pleasing, and we get another opportunity at home this weekend to add another two points which is exciting."
