The Illawarra Cutters will face the Mt Pritchard Mounties at WIN Stadium, Wollongong on Saturday.

After falling to the Newcastle Knights awat from home last weekend, the Cutters will be hoping to rebound with a win considering their prior good run of form.

The Cutters currently sit in eighth position with only a superior for-and-against keeping them above the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles and the Newtown Jets.

Mounties head into this clash sitting on top of the NSW Cup competition.

Despite a loss to the Penrith Panthers last week, the team is well placed to not only finish in the top four, but contend for the Minor Premiership.

Cutters Head Coach Scott Logan has named a strong side with plenty of go-forward up front with both Russell Packer and Luke Page impressive these past few weeks.

Mounties, being the feeder team for the Canberra Raiders, have the luxury of two first-grade halves in Josh McCrone and Mitch Cornish.

Their kicking game will be important for the visitors so it will prove a challenge for the Cutters.

This weekend, following on from last round, will be the Wishleague Round.

It aims to raise funds for the Starlight Foundation which grants seriously ill children three wishes and provides support to all involved.

There will be donation collectors at the game to raise much need funds to help the outstanding work being done by Starlight.
