The St George Illawarra Dragons were proudly involved in the 2014 Disability Trust BlueScope Win Sports Ready group day held at Beaton Park Leisure Centre recently.
Both Dragons Community and NRL Development staff were involved in the event and helped conduct a rugby league skills seminar as well as other activities coordinated by The Disability Trust staff and a number of high school volunteers from The Illawarra Grammar School.
Over 100 participants from across eight local primary support units attended on the day with everyone having smiles on their faces in the sunny conditions!
“The Sports Ready group day is always an event we look forward to each year as the super high level of enthusiasm the children display is always infectious and you always come away with a smile on your face,” said Dragons Community Officer Adam Bezzina.
