Pasifiki Tonga joined the Red V off the back of an NRL Schoolboy Cup title with Ipswich State High School.
His junior days were spent with the Bankstown Bulls and Chester Hill Hornets before a family move to Melbourne spurred a rugby union switch.
A hulking front rower, Pasifiki Tonga linked up with St George’s SG Ball unit in 2023 before earning an Australian Schoolboys nod mid-year.
He would go on to make the leap up to Jersey Flegg Cup and finally Knock-On Effect NSW Cup where he made two appearances.
He joined the NRL squad for his first taste of preseason in the lead-up to the 2024 season before again spending the SG Ball season with the Dragons helping lead the side to their first title in 32 years.
Pasifiki Tonga was rewarded with Under 19s State of Origin selection in June before again making the transition to Knock-On Effect NSW Cup where he played in a further seven matches.
The 20-year-old made his NRL debut in Round 10, 2025 against the Warriors in Wollongong before managing a maiden four-pointer three weeks later against the Knights.
He finished the year having made 10 NRL appearances averaging 74 run metres and totalling 169 tackles at near 98 per cent efficiency.
Having been promoted to the club’s Top 30 in 2025, Pasifiki Tonga is under contract with the club until at least the end of the 2027 season.
