The Dragons last week undertook a three-day visit along the Far South Coast delivering the club’s The Best You Can Be health and wellbeing program to an array of schools.
NRLW stars Keele Browne and Hannah Southwell accompanied Dragons
Community and NRL Game Development staff on the visit to nine primary schools throughout the region delivering wellbeing messages along rugby league drills.
They stopped by Batemans Bay, Moruya, Delegate, Candelo, Bombala, Narooma and Sunshine Bay.
The visits focused on how students can be at their best in the classroom with players emphasising the importance of respecting one another and providing support to each other to ensure their team can be at their best.
The trip followed on from several visits to local schools across the club’s catchment with the program stretching from Arncliffe in the north to Delegate in the south.
