Steelers Club played host to an NRL School to Work Day on Wednesday with students from across the region coming in as they begin planning for life after school.
First Nations students in Year 11 and 12 came in for the careers day which was run a little differently after feedback from previous years.
In what was a 'speed dating' type set-up, students broke off for intimate small group informative rapid yarning sessions with education service providers, industry service providers, employment providers and local business providers.
The students went to 14 different stations across the day learning about different career paths and the potential benefits of pursuing careers in different areas.
