KNOCK-ON EFFECT NSW CUP

The Dragons will be looking to end a three-game skid when they face the Rabbitohs on Saturday afternoon.

Christian Tuipulotu, Viliami Fifita, and Josh Ralph are among the names that are unavailable for Ben Woolf's squad.

Skipper Mathew Feagai has been named back at fullback after shifting into the centres last week whilst Jesse Marschke lines up in the No.6 jersey partnering Jonah Glover.

The club's reigning Jersey Flegg Player of the Year Ben Johnson comes back into the centres whilst Ryan Couchman earns a starting gig in the front row.

Several of the Rabbitohs' mainstays are unavailable as a result of the club's long list of injuries.

Dion Teaupa, Tallis Duncan, and Matthew French have all been handed NRL jerseys after impressing in the side's last-start loss to the Panthers.

Five-eighth Jarrett Subloo and front rower Yileen Gordon enter the clash as two of the side's more experienced men.

The Dragons sit at eighth on the competition ladder having notched three wins from eight outings.

The Rabbitohs sit two competition points ahead of the Red V despite being tied in the win column due to the fact that they have already had a pair of byes.

JERSEY FLEGG CUP

Aaron Hertsch's Dragons will be looking to steady the ship when they host the Rabbitohs on Saturday afternoon.

Second half fadeouts have proven an issue for the Red V - who have lost three of their past four - in recent weeks.

SG Ball standout Loko Pasifiki Tonga is set for his opening Jersey Flegg appearance of the season less than a fortnight on from the Dragons' under-19s Grand Final win.

He joins Steelers SG Ball stars Lyhkan King-Togia and Hayden Buchanan who have also been rewarded with Jersey Flegg nods in recent weeks.

Jacob Webster and Jett Liu - who spent the summer training with the NRL squad - make up a powerful starting front row with fellow NRL trainees Hamish Stewart and Nick Tsougranis starting in the second row.

Kyan Hjaltason skippers the side from dummy-half with Ashton Ward the No.7 and Nick Quinn the fullback.

The Rabbitohs enter the clash with an unchanged spine of Dane Towns, Jack Field, Brent Hawkins and Aiden Doolan.

Liam Le Blanc's NSW Cup promotion paves the way for Noah Reed to come into the front row and partner Toby Sullivan with Louis Grossemy the No.13.

The Dragons enter the encounter sitting at sixth on the competition ladder with five wins from their nine matches.

The visitors sit just a spot below with four wins, three losses, and a draw to their name.
