The Dragons Knock On Effect Cup and Jersey Flegg squads both suffered defeats to the South Sydney Rabbitohs in Round 24 of the NSWRL competitions on Saturday.
Knock On Effect Cup
An Izaac Thompson hat-trick helped boost the Rabbitohs to a 50-12 win over the Dragons' Knock On Effect Cup outfit on Saturday afternoon at Redfern Oval.
Thompson grabbed his first just five minutes in before the Dragons answered through winger Ben Rumble who was making his Knock On Effect Cup debut off the back of a stellar Jersey Flegg campaign.
Thompson snagged a second soon after before Josiah Karapani, Dion Teaupa, and Dean Hawkins all crossed to give the hosts a 24-6 advantage heading into the sheds.
Thompson's third came early in the second stanza before Hamish Stewart notched the first try of his Knock On Effect Cup career.
The Rabbitohs closed out a comprehensive win with a double to Tom Carr as well as tries to Ethan O'Neill and Blake Taaffe.

Jersey Flegg Cup
A second-half fightback was not enough to spur the Dragons' Jersey Flegg side to victory over the South Sydney Rabbitohs at Redfern Oval on Saturday with the hosts notching a 30-12 win.
The Rabbitohs got off to a scorching start with Carson Kaho, Louis Grossemy, James Kokkinos, Dane Towns and Drew Williams all snagging first-half tries to make it 26-0 heading into the intermission.
A Samuel Binks sin bin paved the way for a Dragons revival thanks to tries courtesy of five-eighth Matthew Noakes and interchange forward Corey Ackers as the deficit was cut to 12.
A late Jude Saldanha try saw the Rabbitohs run away with a 30-12 victory on their home turf.
