The Dragons went down to the Bulldogs 22-12 at WIN Stadium. Young centre Savelio Tamale opened the scoring as the Dragons took a slender 6-4 lead to the break. However a three-tries-to-one second half saw the Bulldogs pull away, although Sione Finau's late try gave the Red V a chance in the closing stages.

Jersey Flegg Cup
In a topsy-turvy clash at Belmore Sports Ground, the Dragons went down in an 18-16 heartbreaker. After conceding two tries inside 11 minutes, the Dragons scored the next three through Campbell Watchirs, Ben Rumble and Dylan Egan and looked to have control of the game with 25 minutes to go. However the Bulldogs scored the final two tries of the match and held onto a two-point win.
