DRAGONS HEAD BACK NORTH

The Dragons head north of the border for the third and final time in 2026.

This time last year, the Red V made the journey to Suncorp Stadium to face the Broncos and pulled off a memorable upset with Clint Gutherson and Tyrell Sloan both nabbing doubles.

The moment of the match however belonged to Jacob Liddle who, in the 57th minute, picked up a loose Broncos pass and took off downfield pushing away from a chasing Ezra Mam and finishing off an 80-plus metre effort.

The Dragons have beaten the Broncos in eight of their past 10 encounters and five of their past seven meetings at Suncorp.

COUCHMAN SET FOR 50TH

Toby Couchman is set to this Sunday make his 50th NRL appearance for the Dragons.

A Thirroul Butchers junior, Couchman progressed through the Dragons pathways system alongside identical twin Ryan.

He and his twin brother shared the NRL field for the first time against the Rabbitohs in Round 24 and, alongside Mathew and Max Feagai, became the first two sets of twins to ever appear in the same first grade game.

In 10 outings this season, the 22-year-old has averaged 139 run metres and tallied 409 tackles at 97 per cent efficiency having grown into a pillar of the side's pack.

Moses Suli (back) returns for the Red V in the centres in place of Hayden Buchanan (shoulder) whilst Mathew Feagai comes onto the wing with Christian Tuipulotu (hamstring) unavailable.
Jacob Liddle (hamstring) has been named in the No.14 jersey having spent the past six weeks sidelined.

BRONCOS

Payne Haas (knee) and Brendan Piakura (knee) have been named to return for the hosts.
Kotoni Staggs, Ezra Mam, Gehamat Shibasaki and Patrick Carrigan have all been named to back-up from Origin and will be monitored.
