The St George Illawarra Dragons will face the Dolphins at WIN Stadium on Saturday, April 1st. This is your Round 5 game guide.

First of many

History will be made on Saturday when the Dragons face the competition newcomers, the Dolphins, for the first time.

The Dolphins have proved the doubters wrong this season losing just one game so far, but it remains to be seen if they can keep their hot streak going.

Wayne Bennett's men could be fish out of water in Wollongong, with the Dragons winning their past five matches at WIN Stadium.

Sticking solid

Anthony Griffin has been forced into one change with Jayden Sullivan picking up a minor shoulder injury at training. Junior Amone comes into the starting side for his first game of the year.

Jack de Belin also makes his first appearance of the year after overcoming an ankle injury, replacing Zane Musgrove on the interchange.

Former Steeler to debut for Dolphins

Former Illawarra Steeler and South Coast native Jack Bostock will make his NRL debut against the Dragons on Saturday.

He replaces Tesi Niu (knee) on the wing, while Anthony Milford moves from five-eighth to halfback to cover for Sean O'Sullivan (pectoral) and Isaiya Katoa returns from an elbow injury in the No.6 jumper.

Hooker Jeremy Marshall-King is back from a two-week suspension pushing Mason Teague to the bench.

Dolphins captain Jesse Bromwich will play his 300th NRL game.

Moses Suli 100

Dragons centre Moses Suli will play his 100th NRL game when he takes the field on Saturday.

Suli debuted in the NRL back in 2017 with the Wests Tigers before moving to Manly the following year. In 2022, Suli arrived at the Dragons where he's added 20 games to his total tally.
