The Covid-19 pandemic has forced centenary celebrations of the St George District Rugby League Football Club to be postponed several times, including this historic announcement.
Given the significance of the milestone, the SGDRLFC made the decision to postpone the announcement to formally recognise the centenary team.
In the lead up to Wednesday's selection of the Team of the Century, the judges selected several 'Team of the Eras'.
The SGDRLFC have encouraged fans to vote for their Team of the Century for a chance to win a prize.
