St George Illawarra are proud to announce the launch of its first ever training strip that acknowledges the traditional custodians of country and the Dragons' Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander players.

As runner up in the 2021 Indigenous Jersey competition, local artist Lani Balzan's design was selected by the Dragons' Reconciliation Action Plan working group to carry the important messages around connectedness and acknowledgement.

The players will wear this strip each first training session of the week, and on special occasions.

Head to shop.dragons.com.au to secure your very own piece of indigenous training wear today.

2022 Red V members save up to 20 per cent when shopping at the Dragons Team Store.

Also, keep an eye out for the launch of the Indigenous hoody in the coming weeks.

Acknowledgement of Country

St George Illawarra Dragons respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the land and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders peoples, where our games are played, our programs are conducted and in the communities we support.
