Score Dragons team named for huge Raiders clash

The Score Dragons and Score Raiders have named their squads ahead of the i98FM Convoy Round exhibition match on Saturday, June 19 at WIN Stadium, Wollongong.

The Score teams will act as a curtain-raiser as part of Saturday's triple-header including the NRL and Knock On Effect Cup teams respective clashes with Canberra.

The Score Dragons and Raiders met in 2019 in a fun-filled afternoon at the Sydney Cricket Ground and collided once more in the nation's capital in 2020. They share a win apiece.

This will be the first of two Score games between the two teams in 2021 with game two scheduled for early August in Canberra.

The St George Illawarra Dragons community program Score Dragons, now in its eighth year, is a joint initiative with The Disability Trust where people with disabilities are able to join the merits of local rugby league in the Illawarra.

The Score Dragons was awarded the 2015 NRL Community Program of the Year and has since been the inspiration for the Raiders, Wests Tigers and Melbourne Storm to adopt similar programs.
