Dragons Community on hunt for BYCB century

The St George Illawarra Dragons' beloved Best You Can Be (BYCB) school health and wellbeing program has already hit record heights in 2021.

In its seventh year, the BYCB school resource is closing in on reaching 100 schools for the first time in a calendar year.

8441 students across 97 schools and more specifically 345 classrooms are already gaining all the benefits of the 44-page resource which educates students on healthy lifestyles and the importance of sleep, nutrition, respect, screen time, mindfulness, body image and resilience.

St George Illawarra players also draw from their own lives within the school resource to provide motivation for all children to be the best they can be in all aspects of life.

The Best You Can Be program isn't limited to students from the St George, Illawarra and South Coast regions, with 26 outreach schools also on board from places like Broken Hill, Binnaway, Ivanhoe and Finley.

To learn more about the BYCB health and wellbeing program, please email Dragons Community inclusion and outreach consultant Paul Everill: peverill@dragons.com.au.
