St George Illawarra and the NRL have today announced the Dragons' fixtures for the upcoming 2021 NRL Telstra Premiership season.

The Dragons will commence the 2021 season with a huge local derby clash against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks on Sunday, March 14 (6:15pm) at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium.

The Dragons' first game at Wollongong's WIN Stadium will follow in Round 3 on Friday, March 26 (6pm) against the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.

The 2021 draw has delivered one Thursday night, seven Fridays, five Saturdays and 10 Sunday games, the latter of which will include the Dragons' traditional Anzac Day fixture against the Sydney Roosters. The Dragons' annual clash with the Bulldogs on Queen's Birthday Monday (Round 14) also remains.

The Dragons will be hitting the road again in 2021 to Townsville (Round 2), Newcastle (Round 4), Brisbane (Magic Round), Auckland (Round 16) and Canberra (Round 21).

St George Illawarra management worked with all relevant stakeholders to determine our 2021 home game fixtures after obtaining the club's round allocations earlier this week, as determined by the NRL and host broadcasters.

"Allocating our home game venues is always an intricate process, one that was further complicated by the implications of the Covid-19 pandemic on other Australian sporting codes, when determining our 2021 home draw," Dragons CEO Ryan Webb said.

"Both our traditional venues in Kogarah and Wollongong will see their equal share of action in 2021. A huge local derby against the Sharks at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium is the perfect way to kick start a season, while we look forward to welcoming South Sydney and the Panthers back to WIN Stadium for the first time after many years.

"Our Red V members, partners and fans should still be very pleased with the quality of opponents, and for the most part, the family friendly home draw we have received ahead of our highly anticipated campaign."
