St George Illawarra skipper Gareth Widdop enjoyed a bumper 2017 season, and was given the chance to reflect on the year that was.

Widdop finished the season as Dragons Player of the Year and he also won the RLPA and Dally M Five-eighth of the Year.

Finishing third on the overall Dally M Leaderboard, Widdop would've also played in England's mid-season Test against Samoa if not for a knee injury suffered on Anzac Day.
