The University of Wollongong and St George Illawarra Dragons have joined forces to develop the Energise program for Year 11 students.

Now in its second year, Energise is focused on inspiring students to set long-term education and career goals, discover pathways to achieve them, develop strong study skills, build resilience, overcome challenges and become confident leaders.

St George Illawarra winger Jason Nightingale and former Dragons prop Dan Hunt were two of the presenters on the day, in front of over 100 kids from 11 different schools around the region.

Thanks to those from the following schools for participating in the second-annual Energise program:

·      Beverly Hills Girls High

·      Blakehurst High

·      Georges River College, Oatley
