St George Illawarra Dragons fullback Matt Dufty made a successful return from a knee injury in Illawarra's Intrust Super Premiership loss to the Penrith Panthers last Saturday afternoon.
Dufty suffered the injury during February's Auckland Nines tournament but was able to make it back in time for Round 1.
The Penshurst RSL junior also assessed how first-time five-eighth Patrick Herbert handled the occasion for Illawarra.
