St George Illawarra NYC players Tristan Sailor and skipper Cooper Purcell explain why the young Dragons celebrated hard following their 18-16 win over the Penrith Panthers on Saturday afternoon.
A host of Dragons players were part of the Illawarra Steelers' SG Ball team in 2016 who were defeated by the Panthers in the grand final.
Sailor - son of former Dragons winger Wendell - also spoke of his delight after making his Holden Cup debut.
