The St George Illawarra Dragons’ Under 20’s outfit has beaten reigning premiers the Sydney Roosters 24-16 on Sunday afternoon at UOW Jubilee Oval, Kogarah.
Strong performances from Stuart Mason, Jackson Willis and Steve Marsters helped the Red V to a two-try win, though there remains plenty of work ahead for the young Dragons with the Rabbitohs their next opponents at ANZ Stadium next Sunday afternoon.
