The St George Illawarra Dragons on Wednesday were represented by four young women at the 2017 Indigenous All Stars Youth Summit.

Casey Stratton, Imogen Baade-Mortimer, Summer Dann and Teea Brown all headed to Newcastle to rub shoulders with 64 other young Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islanders and New Zealand Maori students.

The Youth Summit aims to continue encouraging students to value their education and aspire to achieve meaningful employment, training or further studies while embracing their unique culture and identity.

The Summit enabled the Dragons’ four participants to interact with other young leaders through a series of workshops, activities and discussions. As such it’ll now help them continue to become strong leaders within the community.

St George Illawarra Dragons respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the land and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders peoples, where our games are played, our programs are conducted and in the communities we support.
