The St George Illawarra Dragons were proud to welcome the Jillaroos as they hosted the inaugural ‘Juniors to Jillaroos’ clinic at UOW Jubilee Oval, Kogarah recently.

Over 185 aspiring players, travelling from Cooma in the south and Maitland in the north, attended the event which was coached by NSW Women’s Coach Ben Cross, NSW Projects Manager Jamie Feeney and a host of NRL Sydney Metro staff.

The girls covered tackle technique, catch/pass, ruck plays and kicking skills which culminated in several games of Touch Football being played (semi contact).

The girls also had an opportunity to meet several Jillaroo and NSW players, with a Q & A session, learnt to sing the Jillaroo team song and a tour of the Dragons Sheds.
