St George Illawarra Dragons Director of Rugby League Pathways Ian Millward has provided an update on recent recruitment and retention topics concerning the Club.

Millward explains the reasons behind the signing of hooker Cameron McInnes to a two-year contract that will see him join the Club immediately until at least the end of 2018.

McInnes, who can play in the hooking role, had previously been under contract to the South Sydney Rabbitohs and has played 39 NRL games to date.

Furthermore, Millward expresses his thoughts behind local Corrimal Cougars junior Tyson Frizell agreeing to terms on a three-year contract extension that will see him remain at the Club until at least the end of 2020.

The local Corrimal Cougars junior has played 79 first-grade games for the Club since his arrival from the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in 2013 and has played 91 NRL games to date.

Millward also provides an update on present contract negotiations with local Hurstville United junior Luciano Leilua as well as media reports linking the Club to off-contract halfback Kieran Foran.
