The St George Illawarra Dragons will wind up a number of Term 3 school programs with the completion of numerous NRL Backyard League, Dusty and Friends and School 2 Work visits this week.

In addition Dragons Community staff will join local RUN Wollongong staff to promote the upcoming RUN Wollongong at Kiama High School with the event to be held on Sunday October 9.

This is the fourth time the St George Illawarra Dragons will support the run with:

• 100 per cent of every registration fee goes directly towards the redevelopment of the Children's Ward at Wollongong Hospital.

• Run Wollongong is set to be bigger and better than ever with the launch of a new finish line precinct which will see participants soaking up the festival fun atmosphere on event day  with a live performance by singer/songwriter Cyrus as well as other local acts,  interactive market stalls, giveaways and loads of free kids activities

• In 2013, the Run Australia program expanded to New South Wales' Illawarra Coast with the introduction of Run Wollongong which has raised more than $350,000 for the redevelopment of the Children’s Ward at Wollongong Hospital
