St George Illawarra Dragons co-captain Ben Creagh will be honoured by being named in the final fixture of the season against the Newcastle Knights at UOW Jubilee Oval, Kogarah on Saturday.

The local University of Wollongong junior, who sustained a complex knee injury earlier in the season, will be given every opportunity by medical staff to prove his fitness ahead of the fixture prior to his retirement.

Head Coach Paul McGregor has named a 20-man squad for the triple-header which also sees halfback Benji Marshall and centre Taane Milne named in their respective positions.

Furthermore, utility Siliva Havili has been named on a seven-man interchange alongside centre Tim Lafai, second-rowers Joel Thompson, Jacob Host and Will Matthews, prop Luciano Leilua and fellow-utility Jake Marketo.

The Dragons will proudly recognise all the loyal Red V Members who opted to march with the Club this season as part of the overall Members Appreciation Round.

Furthermore, the Dragons will be wearing #PurpleOurWorld purple socks to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer when they take to the field against the Knights.

#PurpleOurWorld is an awareness initiative partnered with the Avner Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, the Garvan Research Foundation, GI Cancer Institute and Pancare Foundation promoting the understanding of pancreatic cancer.
